Overnight Security: The Metropolitan Homelessness Project's Albuquerque Opportunity Center, an overnight emergency shelter for men experiencing homelessness, seeks a team player for a security position (26 hours/week, 4-week nights--Monday through Thursday from 12-midnight to 6:30am. Security personnel are responsible for safety of residents and staff and for grounds security. Applicant must be skilled in verbal de-escalation and trained or willing to train in methods of physical restraint. Bilingual (English-Spanish/Native) and familiarity with harm reduction model a plus. Wage range is $9.00-$11/hr with generous PTO and paid percentage of health benefits.
