Support NM Community Voice Mail!

For the last year and a half, we have been helping people find work and become housed through a simple but highly effective service called NEW MEXICO COMMUNITY VOICE MAIL. Most of us take our cell phones for granted, but not everyone has a phone!

NM CVM provides free, personal, private telephone numbers with voice mail to anyone who needs it. We serve over 400 people at any time throughout Albuquerque and the state. Using Community Voice Mail, our clients have an over 80% success rate in gaining employment. There is hardly any tool more effective for reliable communication to obtain employment, social services, and housing.

I'm asking for your support of this program today. Please consider making a $36 contribution, which will fund one phone number for one person for one year. Just follow this link: www.firstgiving.com/nmcvm to go to our fundraising page. Although funding for the Voicemail program has previously come from the City of Albuquerque, we must find additional revenue to continue this critical service.

If you'd like to hear testimonials from actual CVM clients, call our hotline at 505-340-3004, ext. 4.

Thank you for your consideration and support!

Sincerely,
Amanda Clearwater

Give thanks for FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE!

The 4th of July annual celebration reminds us not to take our freedom for granted. We’re prompted to consciously acknowledge and appreciate the independence won years ago, and to support our government’s continuing efforts to maintain our citizen rights.

True freedom lies within. Our true freedom lies in our ability to deliberately choose our thoughts and feelings. When we practice choice of thought we no longer require things outside of us to be a certain way, in order to feel peace inside of us.
As part of your remembrance and appreciation of your own freedom and independence, please enjoy this version of America the Beautiful by Ray Charles.
